Are LLMs Good at SEO?

LLMs are good at some SEO tasks and unreliable at others. They are strong at drafting content, generating keyword ideas, structuring articles, and explaining concepts fast. They are weak at anything needing real data or current information: they cannot see your actual site, your Search Console figures, or your competitors' live rankings, and they will confidently state things that are outdated or simply wrong. They also tend toward generic advice, because they average what already exists rather than judging your specific situation. I use them as an assistant for the repetitive parts, but the audit, the priorities, the technical work, and the judgement about what your particular site needs still require a person checking against real evidence.
